8 Months!

It has been a while since I've updated the blog and looked through all our pictures but here's a bunch from the 8th month of Andrew's life.  A lot has changed with Andrew.  He's gone from sitting stationary to mobile and getting into everything.  Makes life easier sometimes not having to lug all 20 pounds of him around all the time but also harder because I've constantly got to keep an eye on him to make sure he's not getting in too much trouble.
Fuzzy picture but getting ready to go outside (in April)
 Eatin' some lunch!
Pretty girl in a pretty dress.
Abby got this CD book set a long time ago and she's just gotten a chance to use it.  She LOVES it.

 Daddy Time.

When Andrew gets tired, he likes to put his face on his blanky.
 Blanket monster.
 Outside Buddies! (May)
 First time flying a kite!
Merry Go Round at Mall of America
Abby's such a good big sister.  She loves her brother, always wants to show him things.  Here' they're reading together.  Andrew loves her back.  Hopefully they continue to bond throughout the years.

A Brrrrrrage of Pictures!

Brrrr, it's been a cold few months.  I haven't gotten around to updating the blog recently so here's a slew of picures from the past 2 months.  ENJOY!
Jason's job is to clip the kids nails.

We went to the conservatory when it was cold out to get a nicer "tropical" vibe.

Abby and Daddy built a fort (more like Daddy built it and Abby played in it.) When Jason was finished, he told her to go in and check it out, she responded by saying, "Welp Chief, it looks like we're just about done!"

Play time! Andrew couldn't sit up on his own in the above picture but about a week later, we took the picture below.

My little mad-pie!

I gave him a Mo-Hawk one day.

Aw, my Pretty girl.  She was pretending to be Daddy and "Work on Reciepts" at the computer.  She's getting so Grown Up.
We re-instated the Peterson Doughnut day a few weeks ago.  here's the boys, hard at work.

Abby helped cut the doughnuts out pretty much the whole time.  She had lots of fun.

It was even more fun to eat them though. :)

It was just as fun as I remember it being when we were kids.  It will have to be an annual event.  Mmmm doughnuts.

Abby-ism!

4 SHORT STORIES

MMMMMM ... CHEETO's
The cats have been gone since our house was on the market so they recently came home after taking the house OFF the market and Abby forgot just how fun it was to play with them.  She had been playing with Leon for a while and he got tired and laid down with his arms out like a Spinx and Abby said, "look mom, he looks like a cheeto."
"A what?" I said
"His arms are out so he looks like he's laying like a cheeto!"
"Ya mean a cheetah??"
"Yeah, that's what I mean."

SALAD DRESSING
Abby is a great eater, she eats all sorts of veggies, she'll even eat spinach salads and actually LIKES them.
One day I had cut up some spinach to put on some tacos for dinner and Abby passed the dinner table and grabbed a piece of spinach.  Thinking it was salad, she gave me a disgusted look and said, "Mom, you forgot to put the grease on this green stuff."

MARRIAGE PROPOSAL
Jason and Abby were playing pretend in the living room.  Abby was being coy, turning her head to the side, looking at Jason and batting her eyes with a big smile on her face.  Jason asked her what she was doing and Abby responded, "I'm getting ready to marry you Daddy"

JACOB ...
Abby has been going to preschool for a few months now and absolutely loves it.  She comes home all he time with stories of what she did and all her friends.  However one friend, in particular, is continually talked about and his name is Jacob.  One night at dinner Abby was talking about Jacob and this is what she had to say.
"Today me an Jacob were playing in the gym and we were on the bikes.  Jacob is really fast on the bikes and I'm not really fast.  Jacob would go really fast and then I would go 'Jacob ... Jacob ... come back' (said in a whiny voice) and he would come back and get me."  She's only 3 and she already knows how to get her way with boys, SCARY!

Some Quick Funnies from Abby

Here's a few quick funny things we've experienced with Abby this past week.

Mamabeal, "Abby, what do you want for lunch?"
Abby "Um, I think I want a cheese gorilla."
Mamabeal, " ... a what?"
Abby, "ya know, a cheese gorilla."
Mamabeal, "ya mean a 'cheese TORTILLA'?"
Abby, "yeah, a cheese gorilla."

Abby playing with Andrew in the living room, Jason and Mamabeal in the kitchen.
Abby, "Oh, Andrew, you're so silly sucking on my finger.  You want to put my finger in your mouth? How 'bout my toes?  DAD, CAN I LET ANDREW SUCK MY TOES?"
Dad, "What?  NO, you canNOT let Andrew suck your toes!"
(the realization of what was just said sets in and hysterical laughing sets in.) ROTFL

Abby had a fever yesterday so in the morning we sent her downstairs to grab the THERMOMETER so we could take her temperature.
Mamabeal, "Abby, what's taking so long?!"
Abby, "just a minute, I'll be right there."
Abby comes up stairs with Andrews baby moniter and plops it on the bed.
Mamabeal, "Where's the thermometer?"
Abby, "it's right here, you told me to get the momitor."
Mamabeal, "I wanted you to bring me the THER-MOMeter, not eh MON-iter."  LOL

Baptism and other sorts ...

Andrew was baptized last week! Here are the pictures from the event.

Dan (Katie's Fiance) is Andrew's Godfather
Meghan (my Maid of Honor in our wedding and long time friend) is Andrews Godmother.

 Just a cute picture.
Abby being silly and showing me her food.
I had to throw in this last one, it's a picture of some egg shells.  We get our eggs from a lady who has free range chickens and they're usually a light brown or pink in color on the outside but this egg was RED!  It was completely normal when we cracked it open but I've never seen an egg with such a beautiful red color. (yes, I'm weird.)
