A Father's realization

For many of the last blog entries Julie has taken the reigns and blogged, and she has done an awesome job. But today I decided I wanted to blog about my little angel. Over the past few months I have seen Abby walk for the first time, start talking, and most recently express her opinion and her desire to do what she wants. And while some days are frustrating (the days you see yourself trying to rationalize with an 18 month old) 99% of the days are just bliss! This Monday I didn't have work and Julie did so I got to spend the day with Abby. I can say with certainty it was one of the best days I have had in a long time. We didn't do anything special, in reality it was a pretty normal day with Abby. But being alone with her all day really made me see how lucky I am to have her in my life. I think at some point every father realizes they would do anything for children, a father really sees what absolute love is. I really saw for the first time how much my parents really love me, and as kid I took that for granted. Well I don't anymore, I know the love I feel for Abby my parents feel for me. For all of those people reading this blog that have kids, you know exactly what I mean. And for those who will have kids someday, you will know and you see how deeply you can love another human being. Well enough with the sappy stuff, here are just a few new pictures of Abby from the past few weeks.

Just being silly.
Julie put pigtails in Abby's hair for the first time.
This picture doesn't due justice to how cute she was!
